Dance in the Philippines contains choreography, path, and performance. Philippine dance is influenced by the country’s folks performing arts and its Hispanic traditions; a selection of types also have international influences. Igorot dances such as banga, Moro dances similar to pangalay and singkil, Lumad dances corresponding to kuntaw, kadal taho and lawin-lawin, and Hispanic dances corresponding to maglalatik and subli have been incorporated into modern Filipino dance. Pinoy hip hop music has influenced dances, numerous which have adopted international standards of hip hop and break dances.
